These in my opinion are the best cleaner for any swimming pool application. They are easy to operate, clean the pool the well and most can handle large amounts of debris with no affect on the swimming pool cleaning equipment. My favorite cleaner happens to be a Polaris 280, they have a large throat for leaves and debris.

The main advantages of robotic cleaners for inground pools are that they are quick, efficient, and carry the most features of inground pool cleaners. The extra features of robotic inground pool cleaners, including their independence from your pools circulation system, self contained filter, and internal motor providing drive and suction, make these cleaners somewhat more expensive but typically more effective as well.
