I also dont like the fact that you are using the suction from the pool equipment to operate. You loose some of your skimmers ability to skim the top of the pool. My belief is the more you skim off the top of the pool the less you will have falling in your pool, that can be hard to achieve if your cleaner is taking up your skimmer. There are choices to be made in a purchase of an automatic pool cleaner and if your building your pool its a good time to look at these options. If your pool is already built your options are limited to your pocket book for most people.
