The Aquabot Basic and its big brother Aquabot Turbo are the first two models running on tracks rather than wheels. They are both designed for square shaped pools. The Turbo requires 4 hours of labour to clean a pools floor, walls and waterline. Account for 2 more hours for the Basic to do the same job, which makes it 30percents slower, but does produce the same quality results. If you have a need for maximum flexibility, look into the Aquabot Turbo T series, which are all equipped with tracks and brushes.
The more common types of cleaners are the suctionside driven, pressureside driven, robotic and returnside driven cleaners. The last one, though, has lost its popularity due to high maintenance costs. Its dedicated motor pump and need for bigger volumes of water make it less energyefficient and costly to maintain. Older pools may still have these cleaners but new pool buyers prefer to use more modern pool cleaners. The pressure sidedriven cleaner is a close offshoot of the return sidedriven pool cleaner.
Such a bypass valve comes in handy when there is no valve at the pool pump to control water flow at the dedicated line. There is a lot more that could be discussed about this topic but I think there is enough here for you to get the gist of it. An automatic pool cleaner can be designed for pools of different sizes, shapes, and volumes. Each cleaner will give pool owners a spotless, sundazzled look to their pools. They are meant to remove leaves, sand, or dirt that settles onto pool surfaces. Pool filtration systems only catch debris that settles into the water.
